Friday Jun 28, 2019
In this episode, we talk with playwright, performer, and theater artist Beth Ann Powers (she/her) about asexuality and aromanticism. We discuss the relationship between Christianity and sexuality, highlighting the difference between celibacy by choice and coming out as ace, and we celebrate the importance of platonic relationships and confront their lackluster portrayal in the media.

Omg I totally relate to the at least you're not gay fear coming out to family but I'm also pan so I would have to follow it up with wellll I'm also pan and then having to explain what that is as well. I guess for me my main fear is having my family not understand me, on top of not accepting me. I feel like I can handle one or the other but not both.
